The academy has produced British, national and European champions while keeping a strong focus on beginners, kids and adults across Teesside.

Coaching pedigree

Lee is a multi-time gold medallist in BJJ, No-Gi grappling and Judo. He was awarded his BJJ black belt in 2019 by Professor Ze Radiola and Professor Alain Pozo at the Balaton BJJ Camp in Hungary.

The club first opened its doors in 2015 and has built its reputation around clear teaching, technical progression and a supportive atmosphere.

Who trains here

Everyone is welcome at the academy, from beginners through to experienced adults and kids from 4 years old.

Memberships are flexible, the training environment is friendly, and mutual respect is at the forefront of everyone’s approach.
